GoalDigger App Terms
Please read carefully. By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our application (the “App”), provided by GoalDigger, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Our App is designed to help businesses connect their Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts, allowing for content publishing and monitoring of account performance metrics. The App supports sign-in via Google OAuth and Facebook OAuth for user authentication, and integrates with Meta’s and LinkedIn’s APIs to:
- List and select managed Facebook Pages
- Publish posts on connected Facebook Pages
- Access Facebook Page analytics and insights
- Identify and connect Instagram Business accounts
- Publish content to Instagram (posts, stories, reels)
- Access Instagram analytics and insights
- Connect LinkedIn profiles and company pages
- Publish posts to connected LinkedIn accounts
3. User Accounts & Registration
To use the App, you must register and provide accurate, complete, and current information as prompted by the registration form. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your device.
4. Permissions & Data Usage
By linking your Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts, you grant us permission to access specific data as described in our Privacy Policy. These permissions enable automated content publishing and performance analytics for your social media accounts.
Authentication Permissions
When you sign in using a third-party provider, we request the following permissions for account creation and authentication only:
- Google OAuth – Access to your basic profile information (name, email address, and profile picture). We do not request access to Google Drive, Gmail, Google Contacts, or any other Google services.
- Facebook OAuth – Access to your basic profile information (
email,public_profile) including name, email address, and profile picture. This is separate from the Facebook Page management permissions listed below.
Facebook Permissions
- pages_show_list – Allows us to retrieve and display a list of Facebook Pages you manage so you can select which pages to connect to the App.
- pages_read_engagement – Enables access to engagement metrics and insights (such as likes, comments, shares, reach, and other Page-level analytics) for connected Facebook Pages.
- pages_manage_posts – Allows the App to create, publish, and schedule posts on your behalf to connected Facebook Pages.
- business_management – Allows access to Facebook Business Manager assets (such as Pages and associated accounts) in order to properly identify, connect, and manage eligible Pages linked to your business.
Instagram Permissions
- instagram_business_basic – Provides access to basic Instagram Business Account information including profile details and the ability to read media.
- instagram_business_content_publish – Enables automated content publishing to your Instagram Business Account, including posts, stories, and reels.
- instagram_business_manage_insights – Allows us to retrieve performance metrics and insights (impressions, reach, engagement, profile views) for your Instagram content.
LinkedIn Permissions
- openid – Enables authentication and identification of your LinkedIn account.
- profile – Provides access to your LinkedIn profile information including name, profile picture, and headline.
- email – Allows us to access your LinkedIn email address for account identification.
- w_member_social – Allows the App to create and publish posts on your LinkedIn profile or company page on your behalf.
We use the collected data solely to provide automated posting services and performance analytics. All data access is limited to what is necessary for these core features. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further details on data handling and retention.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to use the App in a manner that complies with all applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account. You may not use the App in any way that could harm or interfere with the functionality of the App or the API services.
6. Prohibited Uses
You may not use our App to:
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
- Exploit or harm minors in any way
- Transmit spam or unwanted communications
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App or related services
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the APIs or the App
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App, including all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, are the property of GoalDigger or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
8. Third-Party Services
Our App utilizes third-party APIs and authentication services, including those provided by Google, Meta, and LinkedIn. Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
10. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall GoalDigger be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the App.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoalDigger, its affiliates, and its respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use or misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.
13. Modifications to the Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. All changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
